Our Story
The idea for Pluckers was hatched in the dorm room of two UT freshmen in 1991. Dave and Mark realized that Austin was badly in need of a good “wings” restaurant that offered dine-in and take-out.
They decided if no one else had the pluck to do it, then they would have to take matters into their own hands and develop the concept themselves. Over the next four years, sauces were tested, loans arranged, and, in the summer of 1995, MD Pluckers Wing Factory & Grill was finally opened.
Now as we continue to spread our wings across America, we still hold true to the spirit upon which Pluckers was founded: to offer a unique and relaxed fun restaurant experience that not only satisfies, but delights both hard-core “wing-nuts” and the casual dining guest.
Over the past 16 years, we’ve grown our little delivery and counter service wing joint into our dream restaurant – a place where anyone can enjoy a wide array of outstanding food (don’t worry – our wings are still amazing) while watching their favorite team in the best Audio Visual setting imaginable. Allen will mark our 13th location and the 4th in the DFW area – it’s hard to believe! But no matter how many locations we open, we promise to keep our restaurants authentic and never waiver from our commitment to serving you outstanding food and providing amazing service.

Pluckers is currently hiring Front of House and Back of House Positions to begin training for the new Allen location, opening Spring 2012.
Qualifications:
1. 2+ years of restaurant experience is preferred
